Scott Pearce is the President and CEO of Appliance Connection in Birmingham, Alabama. With a solid foundation in electronics and refrigeration from trade school, Scott has built a distinguished career in the appliance service industry. He holds HVAC Type 1 and 2 certifications, a homebuilders/remodeler’s license, and a plumbing license. Additionally, he is a Master Certified Service Technician through the Professional Servicers of America (PSA) and a Certified Office Manager with PSA and Brand Source.

Scott's career began in his father's appliance business, where he worked in delivery and installation from February 1983 to August 1986. He then ran a service truck until July 1992, when the family purchased a retail sales and service business. Scott served as a branch manager until 1997, during which time the business expanded to include two more remote locations. He traveled weekly to these locations, assisting with service calls, collecting deposits, and transferring merchandise.

In 2004, Scott took over the day-to-day operations of the business due to his mother's illness. After her passing in 2007, Scott assumed full leadership, transforming the company from a sales-focused business with six technicians to a service-oriented company employing 16 technicians. He purchased the business from his father in 2019. He has since installed a leadership team that reports directly to his General Manager (Integrator). Scott's vision is to increase the company to 50 technicians over the next decade and expand their service area to include the northern two-thirds of Alabama.

Scott has served on the service advisory board with Brand Source and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the United Appliance Servicers Association (UASA), contributing to several committees. He is also active in his church, having served as the Executive Director overseeing finance, personnel, security, buildings and grounds, and transportation. Currently, he is the campus coach for the Growth Track team, leading around 40 people.

Scott is passionate about personal growth and collaboration, leveraging the strengths of those around him to foster mutual growth. He has been married to Margie for 36 years, and they have three sons, all involved in the family business, and six grandchildren.
